SECTION 11 - WORLD TOUR PROMO VIDEO
SUMMARY

Coming soon is the biggest most exciting concert of the summer! Get ready for their 15-country world tour! These are taglines often associated with the rollout of a well-known artist or band announcement for a world tour. A lot of time effort and money goes into these events and one of the most used methods of promoting them is a promotional video. For this assignment, you will do a 60-second promotional video for 2 artists or bands that are teaming up for a world tour next year using what you've learned from using Adobe Photoshop and iMovie to create your project.
PART ONE - RESEARCH AND COLLECT CONTENT
INSTRUCTIONS

The first step is to select a MINIMUM of 2 artists or bands that will be touring together. Here are some rules to follow:

The artists can be current or past. ​

They can be alive or no longer living
-
You can mix artists like rap and rock, alive and current, etc.

For example, Elvis and Beyonce, The Weekend and Tupac, Pink Floyd and Jimi Hendrix, and Taylor Swift, and Billie Eilish. It can be anything you want!

Go onto Google and YouTube and collect images of both past, present, or future, as well as videos of the artist and performers in concert as well as things like press conferences, in public, paparazzi footage, crazy fans, etc. for your video.

You will also go to font websites like 1001freefonts.com or dafont.com and find fonts to match the style and theme of your video. You may even be able to find fonts that match the artist or band name design.

PART TWO - SUBMIT CONTENT FORM
INSTRUCTIONS

**DO THIS FIRST** - Download the form on your right called the "Artist Submission Form" and fill out the required information.

Your video promo MUST have:​
-
A minimum of 2 artists​
-
A minimum of 3 different Fonts to use for titles and graphics.

A minimum of 3 different video clips. Use Quicktime to get your clips
-
A minimum of 2 songs from each artist to use (4 total). Use the Sample extension to collect your songs

DOWNLOAD FORM
PART THREE - CREATE YOUR VIDEO
INSTRUCTIONS​​

You must use iMovie
-
The video Must be 60 seconds in length
-
You MUST use Photoshop to create the titles for your video. DO NOT use the iMovie Titles. Watch the video under "Resources" to import Photoshop text into iMovie.

You also need to have a graphic illustration of where the tour is ex: USA, South America, Europe, etc.

A minimum of 10 images of the artists

An intro with the name of the artists
-
An announcement of the world tour starting next year

What countries they will be visiting
-
An ending with where you can get tickets (Live Nation, Ticketmaster, etc.)

For this assignment, you will do a 90-second promotional video for 2 artists or bands that are teaming up for a world tour next year using what you've learned from using Adobe Photoshop and iMovie to create your project.​
